STEMSTAGE turns your music into playable rhythm-game charts. Import a track, split it into instrument stems with AI, and take the stage on guitar, bass, drums, keys or vocals.

Build your band

Play solo, with up to four local players, or in online rooms. Choose from four difficulties, chase streaks and unleash overdrive.

Use a keyboard, gamepad, supported guitar or drum controller, or MIDI instrument. Sing along with pitch scoring, or play a real guitar or bass through an audio interface.

Explore tour venues, build setlists, practice slower sections and edit your charts. Customize play with color-blind palettes, calm visuals and lane assist.

Free and open source. Available for Windows 10/11 and Linux x86-64. Choose the Windows installer, Linux AppImage, Debian/Ubuntu package or RPM package below.

A WebGL 2-capable GPU is required. AI setup downloads approximately 3–5 GB; an NVIDIA GPU speeds up stem separation, and CPU processing is also supported. Node.js is included.

These 1.8.1 packages come from the successful main-branch GitHub Actions build. They do not include signed updater artifacts.

Bring music you have the rights to use. AI-generated charts can be refined in the chart editor.
